Margie Sherlock is the global health principal at ConText, researching global health initiatives and mentoring emerging leaders.

Deeply committed to promoting global health equity and personalized medicine, Margie is an Unbound sponsor and holds memberships in the Personalized Medicine Coalition and the Society for Participatory Medicine. As a Global Health Corps Advisor, she mentors GHC Fellows.

Margie’s undergraduate degree is from Marywood University. She pursued post-graduate studies at Villanova University and earned certificates from Harvard Law School (executive negotiating) and the MIT Sloan School (systems thinking). Most recently Margie earned seven certificates in global health, genomic medicine, and bioethics via edX from Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Georgetown University Medical School, and the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University.

Margie held senior positions in Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, and Hewlett-Packard. In DEC and Compaq she achieved Senior Member of Technical Staff appointments, while writing over fifty OpenVMS books for software releases and two third-party books. At HP she helped build a $10B (USD) global health business.

Prior to DEC/Compaq/HP, Margie was a Consensus Standards Consultant with ASTM International and a freelance copywriter with a client base including Subaru of America, BMW, and Mercedes Benz of NA.
